This Challenge is now closed. Thanks for playing!
Hi, Robins! Way back in 2007, Tammie Jean, formerly of the blog Long Drives to Nowhere, suggested the topic "Windows." A year later, Momma of Sandcastle Momma suggested "Outside Looking In." Let's combine those two ideas, shall we? The topic for Saturday, November 6 is
"In the Window"
The idea for this one is to stand (or sit) outside a window, and photograph through it to whatever is inside. This can be a window of your house, a car window, the window of a business, or a display case, or even a window in your wallet. The only catch is that you are outside that window, and whatever you're photographing is inside. Perhaps there's a big holiday display window at a nearby department store. Perhaps you keep knickknacks on a window ledge and they can be seen from outside. Or you may be looking through a window at a beloved pet who is waiting to greet you! Whichever way you do it, there will probably be reflections to be coped with, and angles to be considered. That's why it's a Challenge!
So, would you like to play along? We'd love to have you! Just read and follow the following easy guidelines. People seem to be getting confused about how this works, so please read along, even if you've played many times before:
1. DO RSVP in the comments below, if at all possible BEFORE the Challenge date. In fact, five minutes from now would be the perfect time to let us know you plan to participate. There is no need to wait until after you've posted to tell us about it.
2. DO include your name, blog name, and blog URL in the RSVP, thus:
I'm looking into playing!

3. DO tell me if it's your first time, or if there's any change from last time, such as a new blog name.
4. DO NOT post until the Challenge date, Saturday, November 6. Most blogging platforms will let you schedule an entry ahead of time if you expect to be busy on the day. But if you don't get to it on Saturday, it's not too late! Sunday or Monday is fine. The Challenge is open for six days to accommodate stragglers, although you're less likely to get visitors to your blog after the first day.
4. DO mention the Challenge in your entry, and link back here so people can enjoy the work of other Robins as well!
That's it! Go be photographers, and we'll see you on the 6th!
