Round Robin Challenge: Macro

Hello Robins!
This Challenge Is Now Closed, Thanks For Playing! :)
For our second Round Robin Challenge of the New Year, John Darrow, author of the blog, "Personal Effects," has chosen a nifty new theme for us, one that will allow is to not only show off our creative talents with the camera, but our technical prowess with photography as well. John has picked, "Macro," as our subject. Here is his vision for our challenge, in his own words...

"The macro feature of the camera is explored in this challenge via the subthemes of the texture (T), color (C), reflection (R), and newness (N). You are to take 4 pictures and present each no larger than 200 x 200 pixels.

For those who know how to combine multiple photos into a singe image, the desired final format is a single 400 x 400 visual with four subsections, in this layout:

T C
R N

If you don't know how to do that, just post four separate images, where each is no larger than 200 x 200."

-John Darrow

Sounds like a challenge to me! LOL. I need a lot of practice with doing Macro, so I will be looking forward to taking on this challenge! I hope you will too. The date for this challenge will be Wednesday, January 24th.As always, you can post your entry any time between the midnights of that day, or for up to one week late if you are unavailable on that day. All you have to do to play along is give us your R.S.V. P in the comment thread for this entry, prior to the challenge date, by providing your complete information in the following format...

Please remember to give us your complete information, so we don't have to track you down, and possibly make a mistake in leaving you off the posted linking list. For additional information on how to play along with the Round Robin Challenges, see the **Welcome Entry & Rules Of Play** which can be found on our sidebar. That's it!

Now make me proud, go be photographers, and comeback here on Wednesday, January 24th, to show us your Macro photography! :)

-Carly
NOTE: Please remember Robins, each challenge is presented as a suggestion for how to present your entry, if you are unsure how to do a specific challenge, you can always email Steven, Karen or myself to ask for further assistance. In this case, any MACRO shot will be fine as an entry for the challenge.

If you are not sure about "macro" photos or "macro" settings, I've posted some tips on getting started. - Steven

My smallest lense doesn't do macro very well, or maybe its just me. However, I love a good challenge, and have learned so much through this and other online assignments, things I didn't know I could do until I did it, so count me in this challenge as well.

I have an idea...let's drop the 200x200 "rule" and the grid of four idea. That way, more people can play along...and those who *want* to get fancier can do those extra things, but it's not a requirement.
