Round Robin Challenge: Land Or Sea

Hi Robins :) NOW CLOSED!

I used one of my own ideas this week, hope you enjoy it! How does "Land Or Sea" sound? It's an easy concept, simply choose LAND or SEA to photograph and show us what you chose on the day of the challenge! The date for this challenge will be Saturday, May 8th 2010! As always, there are a few things to keep in mind about how to play along with the RRC...

1. Please R.S.V.P. your intention to play by using the following format...

Your Name
The Name of your blog, journal or website
The FULL Internet address of where your submission can be found.

Please remember, we need your full information each time you play. Why? Well, sometimes folks change their blog name, or the platform they are on. Sometimes we get folks with the same name, so having your information each time insures we link to the correct person on the day of the challenge.

2. Please DO NOT submit your entry prior to the challenge date! You won't be linked to until the day of the challenge, so it does no good to jump the gun. It's NOT a race! Saturday, May 8th is the challenge date, and you will be acknowledged that day.

3. If you are new to the Round Robin Challenges, please let us know so we can give you a proper greeting on the day of the challenge!

4. After your entry has posted, on the day of the challenge, it's a good idea to comeback here and tell us you have posted. This helps us update things in a more timely manner!

5. If you have any questions about how to play, you can always visit the Welcome Entry & Rules of play entry, a link to it can be found on the sidebar, or you can email us. Our contact information can also be found on the sidebar!

Round Robin Challenge: Look Up/Look Down

Hello Robins :) NOW CLOSED!

If it's Sunday, it must be time for an all new challenge! This time around it comes to us by way of our friend Steven. "Look Up/Look Down" is scheduled for Saturday March 13th, 2010. For this one, the perspective is up to you. Pretty straight forward I think, so, let's review the guidelines for play, shall we?

1. Please R.S.V.P. your intention to play by leaving us your information in the comment thread for this entry. Follow my example...

The Internet address of where it can be found.

Please folks, we need this each time you play. Please don't create additional work for Karen and I by not leaving your info. Ok?

2. DO NOT POST YOUR ENTRY BEFORE THE ENTRY DATE. It does no good to post early. We don't visit until the day of the challenge, you won't be added to the Linking List until the day of the challenge, and it makes me grouchy... so please... DON'T POST EARLY!

3. Please include a link back here, so your readers can play along with us.

4. It's probably a good idea to comeback after you post your entry and let us know you have posted. It just makes things flow smoother on the day of the challenge.

5. If you haven't played with us before, please let us know so we can give you a proper greeting!

Round Robin Challenge: Childhood Memories

Hello Robins :)

A quick note: IF YOU DON'T READ THE FULL ENTRY YOU MIGHT MISS AN IMPORTANT PIECE OF INFORMATION THAT YOU NEED TO PLAY ALONG. PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THE FULL ENTRY!

Time for a new challenge! Save the date, Saturday February 13th 2010! And what will our challenge be? Glad you asked! It comes to us by way of our friend, and fellow blogger Monica, author of the blog, Shutterly Happy, and theme this time around will be:

"Childhood Memories."

Okay folks, get out your skates, and skate keys, your teddy bears, and your Matchbox cars and your imagination, of course, and take a giant step back in time to childhood. Simon says, share with us what you enjoyed in those carefree days so long ago. You are only limited by your imagination with this one, so why not let it out to play? Show us your Childhood Memories!

As always there are a few guidelines for participation...

1. DO NOT POST YOUR ENTRY PRIOR TO THE CHALLENGE DATE! It's not a race folks. You don't get to be first, in fact, all it does is confuse things on the day of the challenge, and it makes me grouchy, so please don't do it... ok?

2. Please give us your R.S.V.P. no later then the evening before we play, so we can add you to the Linking List for the next day. We ask that you give us your information in the following manner...

The Complete Address Of Where We Can Find Your Blog

Please don't make us come looking for you, ok? I can't make you follow the guidelines, but really folks, we have been playing the same way for over 5 years. Things get very busy on the day of the challenge, and Karen and I do our best to keep things updated in a timely manner, so please don't create additional work for us, ok?

3. If you are new to the challenges... WELCOME! Please sing out in the comments, so we can give you a proper welcome on the day of the challenge! We love new participants! It's also a good idea to read our Welcome Entry, which can be found on the sidebar.

4. You are not late for the challenge if you post after the Saturday date. You are welcome to post your entry anytime through the following Saturday. You will, however, have a better chance of having your entry be seen if you post on the day of the challenge. If you have to be late, let us know, and we will make a note next to your name on the Linking List, so folks know when to come looking.

5. After you post your entry, it's a good idea to comeback and let us know by leaving giving Karen and I a little nudge. Just say something like "Hey I have posted." It just makes things go faster.
