Steven (former cohost of this meme and ace photographer of the late, lamented (sometimes)photoblog) described the topic this way:
Show us a photo you always wanted to take. Open theme, have fun.Have you been meaning to take your camera to the park, the mountains, the lake, the zoo or the museum, but just haven't gotten around to it? Is there a particular tree, building or person you'd like to photograph, but the opportunity never arose? What about that photographic challenge you've been meaning to tackle - trick photography, odd angles, or even your first decent photo of the moon? Here is your chance to go after that photo you've been meaning to take, but never did.
Oh, and one more thing: Steven used to accompany his "open" themes with a call for new Round Robin topics as suggested by YOU! The topic pool is running low, and consists mostly of topics from people who haven't played in a while. So as part of your entry, tell us briefly what it is you've been wanting to photograph, and what topics you would like to see in a future Challenge. Your suggestions will refill our topic pool so we can try out some brand new Challenges this year. Sound good? All right, then! Just remember, the usual guidelines apply:
1. DO RSVP in the comments below with your name or handle, blog name and blog URL, thus:

2. DO NOT post BEFORE the Challenge date. If you need to set it up beforehand, most blogging platforms will let you schedule an entry to post on a certain date and time. But yes, you MAY POST up to 6 DAYS AFTER the date if you forget or something comes up that delays your entry. That said, you will get more visitors to your entry if you post on the Challenge date.
3. DO mention the Round Robin and link back to this blog. (If there's no link or mention, how is that a Round Robin entry?) Including a linking list to the other entries is encouraged but not mandatory. Also, it's helpful to stop by here and leave another comment with your specific link once your entry is posted.
